Depending on how far into planning your event you are, you might have an idea of what you're looking for, or maybe not. If you've acquired any inspiration photos, please be prepared to show those either through video call or email them prior to your consultation. At a minimum, I would recommend having your venue, wedding date, and bridal gown chosen before discussing any decor or floral, as those elements will weigh heavily on your event style and floral options. Floral pricing is determined by the type of flower and price per stem, as well as a labor cost. The price of any floral design in total depends on the fullness of florals and size. A bridesmaid bouquet that is roughly 8 inches across in size can be made with more or premium florals to have a greater impact, or composed of different varieties of flowers and less full to reduce price.

These are elements we discuss during consultation so I can provide an accurate quote upfront. However, as the planning process progresses, we can change the floral proposal and quoted price by accommodating changes to flower type and fullness.

I do not have a minimum order for florals. That being said, flowers are provided in the industry by the bunch. You may find that pricing for an elopement bridal/personal bouquet and boutonniere is higher than if those same items were ordered with other wedding pieces, as the cost to source all of the flowers by the bunch is higher than if those flowers were also being used in other priced wedding pieces, such as altar pieces.

The Copper Dahlia is able to accommodate requests for floral mock ups or samples after a contract has been signed and returned. There is an additional fee for the cost of the florals, and due to seasonal availability, it may not be an exact replica of the final product.

Computer generated floral proposals which depict floral illustrations using photo editing or clip art style floral images instead of inspiration/example photos are available at an additional cost per proposal. Pricing is determined on an ad hoc basis. This could be a good fit for clients which are more visual and would prefer to see an exact mockup of the final product instead of an inspiration photo.

When you have decided to proceed with booking services with The Copper Dahlia, we will have an email chain going that you can just reply back to and I will send over my contract and an invoice for booking retainer. Once the retainer is paid and contract signed, the date is secured for your event!

You may notice that within the contract for floral services there is a clause for floral exclusivity. This means that the only florals present at your event are provided through The Copper Dahlia, unless agreed upon in writing. This includes floral decor from your catering company, live florals on cake, hair flowers, and any faux or live florals provided by any other vendors or individuals (example: DIY centerpieces or bridesmaid bouquets).

As a business, I put my design expertise into each event I book, as well as my business name. When other individuals provide floral decor, it may be assumed that it was work that I also am responsible for.

Please be upfront and honest about your wants and needs when they may conflict with this floral exclusivity clause.

Depending on the scale and size of your event, delivery usually occurs the same day. The Copper Dahlia will determine a delivery time with you, keeping in mind:

• Venue access time

• Length of time needed to set up any installations or arches

• Time in which the table linens will be out on tables

• Time that photography starts for details shots, flat lays, and getting ready photos

• Cake delivery time, if decoration is needed

• Guest arrival time

• Weather forecast - yes, if it's a hot sunny day we will set up as late as possible to protect florals!

Email or text any requests or changes throughout your planning process. If necessary, an additional consultation via phone or video can be scheduled. Changes to your proposal can be made up to 30 days before your event. At that point the contract will be finalized and changes may be accommodated depending on the request, as the floral order has already been sourced with markets and growers.

After booking (contract and retainer/deposit paid) I am available by text or email, whichever method is easiest for you. If you’d like to DM on Instagram- please be aware I will probably follow up with any items discussed as an email or text to keep everything in the same chain, but feel free to send inspo my way!

For phone calls, video chats, and in-person meetings or site visits, I may need 24-48 hours notice to schedule in order to arrange for childcare.
